Adventure World has launched a new four-day itinerary in Vietnam’s lesser-visited Central Highlands, placing cruelty-free elephant tourism firmly at its core.
The itinerary is available for travel from October 2026 and it offers conscious travellers a four-day, three-night immersive journey across Buon Ma Thuot, Yok Don National Park, and Lak Lake.
The highlight of the Vietnam’s Highlands & Elephants journey is an experience with Animals Asia’s landmark ethical elephant project. The project, developed in close collaboration with Yok Don National Park, empowers visitors to track and observe gentle giants as they roam, forage, and bathe freely in their natural habitat, accompanied by expert guides and former handlers who have transitioned into elephant guardians.
“Animals Asia has supported Yok Don National Park to transition elephants from riding-tourism to observational tourism only,” Animal Asia global programmes & sentience director Dave Neale said. “Tourists now have the opportunity to walk alongside guides in the forest, tracking the elephants as they go about their day – free to choose how they spend their time resting, eating, bathing, and socialising.”
Animals Asia integrated a direct contribution fee into every booking, securing essential ongoing operational funding for the welfare project.
